Statement of Faith

The Scriptures:

The Bible (Old Testament and New Testament) is God’s Word to us. It is the Truth, without any mixture of error.
It is the light and guidance for us. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. Man stands under the judgment of the Bible and never does the Bible stand under the judgment of man. [John17:17, Psalm 19:7, 2 Peter 1:20-21, 2 Timothy 3:16]

God:

There is only one God. Who is Holy,True,Almighty and Living. He is triune, eternally existent in three Persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three are one God deserving all our worship and obedience. [1 Chronicles 17:20, Mark 12:29, Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14]

God the Father: God the father is the Creator of all things. [Gen 1, Isaiah 44:24] He is the father of all men [Eph 4:6], but is the spiritual Father of believers only [Rom 8:14; 2 Corinthians 6:18].

God the Son: Jesus Christ is son of God .Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, was born a human child, lived a sinless human life and offered Him self as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He rose from the dead after three days to win a victory over sin and death. He ascended into Heaven and will return again to earth someday to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. [Matthew 1, Philippians 2:6-8, 1 Peter 2:22-24, Romans 8:34, Luke 24:46 -51, Revelation 19:11-16]

God the Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit convicts the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment [John 16:8] draws the repentant sinner to Christ and baptizes into the body of Christ [2 Thessalonians 2:13, 1 Corinthians 2:13-15, 2 Corinthians 1:22] and seals for the day of redemption [Ephesians 4:30]. He provides believers with power, the understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. [Acts 1:8, 1 John 2:20, John 14:26] He makes available to every believer spiritual gifts and abilities for the building up of the Church. [1 Corinthians 12]

Salvation:

Salvation is completely by God’s grace, an unmerited gift to the believer it is solely based on the redemptive work of Jesus Christ on the cross. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. [Ephesians 2:8-10, Colossians 1:14, Titus 3:5] Salvation is sanctifying work of Holy Spirit, which is faith in Jesus Christ, and His death on the cross on our behalf can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. Every one who repents for their sins rejects their self-governed life and turns in faith to Lord Jesus Christ who is now resurrected are saved instantaneously. [1 Peter 1: 2, Acts 3:19, Acts 11:18, Romans 10:9-13] Every one who believes in Jesus Christ are saved and kept eternally by God’s power secure in Christ forever [John3:16, 1 Peter1:5, John10:28,-29, Hebrew 10:39]
